Promos are coming, everyone is starting to work hard. But in the midst of slogging your guts out for promos, please do drink loads of water and take good care of your health. It is just not wise to fall sick at the final lap and be at bad form for the actual examination.It may sound quite ironic but ironically(haha), I sort of enjoy Mr Yong's lectures. I like the way he starts off with the meaningful lessons in life. And one thing i took away the other day is to learn to complain less and make and effort to accomodate. But on top of that, there are things that are intolerable and these are stuff that regards to bad attitude.Why do people like to give excuses? If you haven't been doing excercises and fitness test results reflects badly, the only reason why it is so is because you are not putting enough effort. You are not pushing yourself hard enough. So do not come up with those lousy excuses. You guys know how much you'll need to work, it is never enough. My target for the team is for everybody to complete 2.4km in 9 and half mins before the start of the season, with the better ones taking thomas as a benchmark, sub 8. Before we start talking about the high expectations we have for the team, do you all have high expectations of yourself?If you have, are u making an effort to reach it? Most can be achieved with good planning and discipline, so spend a few minutes to think about how you can include the excercises into your schedule. No one is on an easy schedule, it's tight for everybody i know. I am still learning, and i hope we learn together as a team.All the best for the soccer seniors taking the prelims and also to the J1s taking promotional exams.
