Stronger, faster, calmer. These are the attributes i need to improve on to up my game, to bring my game and my team's game to another level. I had a short training session with my seniors today and they taught me how to play the long ball and in the midst of it, Reuben told me this, :" One person training hard doesn't make the team stronger." I thought about it and felt that it's true. Afterall i am still learning to be a good leader just like anyone else. Everyone in the team is a leader.
The band of brothers should start working even harder together, only then we can achieve something. We all know everyone out there tell us that we have the potential to be a huge force, but relishing the potential takes effort and 100% commitment. We need to take every training like a match, putting ourselves into as much match situations as possible. After every training i always think that i could have given more just now, and i am sure we wouldn't want to give ourselves an excuse to regret.
JC2s ( as of 2007), i know we have been through hard trainings, but the truth lies that we have to take at least 10 JC1s to nationals. now we have 21 of us. Meaning 6 of us will get the cut. But the least we can do now is to make the cut decision tough for coach, only then is it fair for us. Do not give up without a good fight. Especially a few of us who needs to work extra extra hard. No one is safe, including me and any other player.
JC1s ( as of 2007), you guys haven't been through hard trainings, but you guys better make sure you'll deserve the 10 or more placings you gonna make up in nationals. Give the seniors a run for their money.
5 months to nationals. 5 more months of hard trainings. 5 more months of commitment. 5 more months of unconditional attention to school work and soccer. 5 more months of fun. 5 more months to build a 14325232 month long brotherhood."Anything that doesn't kill you only makessyou stronger"
ep kicked the ball at.
